Fire compartmentation system for escalators consisting of a sliding door with a hinged door coupled in 1 panel. In the open position, both sliding doors remain on the sides of the escalator wall with the hinged doors folded over them. When the fire signal is triggered, the whole assembly runs together to the front of the escalator, where the hinged doors open at 90\u00b0 to form a square-shaped closure.<\/p>
